What to write to us about
- A constant looks wrong. Tell us which one, what you think it should be, and ideally where that figure comes from. This is the most useful mail we get.
- The calculator gave a result that cannot be right. Send the location, your inputs and what it returned. Screenshots help.
- Something does not work in your browser. Tell us which browser and what happened — the map failing to load and the sunlight fetch failing look similar but have different causes.
- A guide is unclear or has an error. Quote the sentence.
What we cannot help with
- Designing your system. We cannot specify strings, cables, protection or earthing for a roof we have not seen. That needs a licensed installer and, in most jurisdictions, a signed-off design.
- Recommending an installer or a brand. We take no commissions and keep no list, deliberately.
- Telling you whether to buy. We can show you the arithmetic. The decision involves your finances, your grid reliability and your plans, and none of those are visible to us.
- Diagnosing a fault in an installed system. Whoever installed it owes you that under warranty.
Response time
This is a small site. We read everything and reply to most things within a few days. Corrections get priority over everything else.
